Cas Hinds looks at why Rhystic Study sits fifth on EDHREC's saltiest-cards list, pointing to the optional payment, constant interruptions, price and its place in over a million decks. Power alone, they argue, doesn't explain it.

Erik Dudgeon Jr picks the Reality Fracture cards he expects to see in cEDH. They're a card-drawing Jace, a Displacer Kitten for creature decks, two two-mana Samuts and Vraska as a new storm commander.
Winota's cEDH Resurgence at SCGCon Baltimore
Winota, Joiner of Forces made the top four at SCGCon Baltimore's cEDH 5K, and Harvey McGuinness explains why. It barely needs spells after the early turns, so it shrugs off Rhystic Study, runs Rule of Law and wins by plain combat.

Smaug, Wicked Worm | cEDH's Next Dockside?
Smaug, Wicked Worm isn't a second Dockside Extortionist, argues Harvey McGuinness, since its real edge is a card for each spell cast with Treasure mana. Grim Hireling and Wheel of Fortune fuel it, with Underworld Breach or Dualcaster Mage to win.
Thranduil, the Elvenking | A cEDH One-Card Combo
With Devoted Druid, Incubation Druid and Zameck Guildmage in the graveyard, Thranduil, the Elvenking makes infinite mana and draws its deck, so one Buried Alive usually wins. Harvey McGuinness also covers Hermit Druid and Thassa's Oracle routes.
Bilbo's Gambit: A cEDH Trap?
Mostly yes, is the verdict on Bilbo's Gambit. Two mana is a lot to bounce a spell, and the gifted Silence stops you too. So it's only really at home in decks that win through activated abilities, like Oswald Fiddlebender.

Marvel Super Heroes: A cEDH Set Review, Part Two
Part Two covers the Commander decks and Jumpstart, where most of the picks are four-drops that want an extra turn, like Immortus and Loki. Doctor Doom gives mono-black a slow Thassa's Oracle, and Fogwell's Gym is the one land.
The Difference Between Bracket 4 and cEDH
